If you’re sceptical about coaching or think you’ve got your life together enough to navigate your career/life yourself, you’re probably the perfect candidate for Jack’s program. I too was sceptical when I got started – I had a great career, a long-time mentor, and thought I’d heard every self-development podcast on the planet, read every leadership book, and followed every @MarkMason-eqsue creator on Instagram. What more could I possibly have to learn about myself and personal/professional growth? Turns out, more than I could imagine. It’s true that you don’t know what you don’t know, and Jack continuously pushed my thinking well beyond my comfort zone and inspired enlightening “a ha!” moments week after week, even long after our sessions had wrapped. His technique is the perfect blend of gentle and approachable, yet confronting when the moment calls for it. He’ll encourage you to “go there” with your ideas and guide your thinking in a way I’ve not experienced before. There are things he said that I find myself repeating randomly throughout the day, like a little Jack soundtrack. I never imagined what started as career coaching would end up seeping into every area of my life – from relationships, to finances, to values, and more. The program has given me clarity on so many things I’ve mulled over for decades without any structure. Jack creates the right environment for this type of thinking – he’s inquisitive, super patient, a keen listener, an out-of-the-box thinker, and reliable notetaker. He’s super efficient/organised and ensures each session ends with diligent summaries and clear homework so you can focus fully on the conversation/tasks during the session. He’s also got a super soothing voice and honestly I hope he starts a podcast or narrates an audiobook because his visualisations ended up feeling more like lullabies lol. I promise you you’ll get more out of this program than what you went into it for, and the learnings and lessons will set you up for a lifetime. I wish I’d done it earlier, but honestly it’s never too late.
